TMNT: ANG

Tadaaaa here's the cast of main characters for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: A New Generation!

The plot
The story focuses around the 5 main characters pictured above. Looking at them you may already be able to point out who they are. x3 But stop right there, they are not exactly the sons(and daughter xP ) of the TMNT. Technically they are, but in the TMNT: ANG storyline as of right now, none of the TMNT have wives or girlfriends. These 5 characters were created in a lab based off the DNA of the TMNT. They aren't 100% clones necessarily. They were test tube babies, created from the mixed DNA of the TMNT and other female mutants. Although they take after the appearance, skill, and personality of their "fathers". With their own personal quirks. ; P They are kept and tested on in the lab after their "birth" when they were developed enough to be taken out. The tests started out harmless with seeing how they learn speech and motor skills, but eventually turned toward the bad with torturous training and...well...not the most sane of scientists. >_> But we wont go into that right now. Around 7 years of age they were able to escape and started living on the streets and eventually settled into an old abandoned sewer area. (note: yes they live underground in New York City, but they live in an area far away from the TMNT, and currently have had no contact with them at all). Although realistically they are all cousins, they all consider each other brothers(and sister xP )

The Characters

Hiroshi (Hiro) - The Humbled Warrior (far left)
Hiroshi is the leader of the team, surprise surprise, he was based off Leonardo's DNA. He had a big ego when he first became a teenager. He was arrogant and thought himself stronger than his siblings, until he went off on his own one night and got the snot beaten out of him, he would have been killed if his brother Nico(the one in the brown bandana) hadn't came in and warded off the offender. After that he was depressed for a long time, but eventually with the support of his family he got over it and became the humble, disciplined warrior he is at present.

Nicodemus (Nico) - The Sensitive One with the Brains (brown bandana)
Nico is the brains of the five, he is often cautious and also rather shy. He is curious and sensitive, based off Donatello's DNA. He enjoys his hobbies which include music and dance, he is very intelligent and can learn any instrument by toying around with it for a few minutes, and he can learn any dance or fighting style by simply observing (he can learn the basic principle, but it still takes practice for him to master the technique). Out of his siblings he is the most skilled fighter, but he hates fighting and avoids it as much as he can, he hates conflict. Also, he was born without a shell, along with his brother Rex (the one in the black bandana), as a result, their backs are sensitive to touch.

Rex (The Rex-ter or Rexxie xP) - The Strong Silent Type (black bandana)
Rex is the toughest of the group, based off Raphael's DNA. He is not the most skilled fighter, but he is the strongest and can take the most hits. He is a man of few words, but he talks more often when he is with his siblings, but not when others are present. He talks the most to Nico who is the closest to him amongst his siblings. He is often angsty and brooding, he has a temper and often will smash or break things when upset. Nico is the only one who can calm him down, usually Hiro can subdue him when he loses it, but only Nico can talk reason to him.

Alexander-Jim (A.J.) and Tiffany-Jill (T.J.) - The Twins (bottom right)
AJ and TJ are twins, and have the same personality. Based off the DNA of Michelangelo, these two trouble makers are just as wild and crazy as their "father". The two are the least skilled fighters of the group, but when fighting together they make a great combat team and can kick butt like no tomorrow. They started out at the same height but after puberty AJ became much taller than TJ, much to her dislike. x3 The two are immature and inseparable. They tend to be silly and goofy even in serious situations, they are mature enough to understand when a situation is serious, but their way of coping with fear and pessimistic situations is to laugh about it.
